Professor Terrinha recently held a promotion meeting for the Gracie Barra New England team in the Milford academy. Many of Professor Terrinha's students were recognized for their hard work and dedication in both classroom instruction and competition. Most notably, Professor Terrinha promoted students Bobby Walls and Greg Andreola, two of his most senior students, to the rank of purple belt. Bobby and Greg are the first students ever to achieve this belt under his tutelage. Bobby and Greg are shown respectively in the following two photographs along with Professor Terrinha and Black Belt Aldo Batista representing Aldo Batista Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Student Sean Frates was also promoted to the rank of Blue Belt. Sean achieved the rank of Blue Belt at a past tournament and was formally recognized at the promotion meeting. We would like to congratulate Bobby, Greg, and Sean on their achievement as well as all of the other students receiving stripes.
